Blog on Enterprise Mobility - Embrace the Challenge & Empower Your Business

KloudData’s SAP BlogAs the COO of KloudData I get to meet a lot of other CXO’s of different industries at several meetings and conferences. One most noticeable thing is the fundamental shift in mobile communications and the ways in which, executives today interact with their clients and access their business information. This fundamental shift has been caused by the internet enabled mobile devices like smartphones and tablets. It is now possible to access work related critical data irrespective of location or circumstance. In our recent post on the KloudData blog I have discussed the crucial role of enterprise mobility in decision making. Although we might say that different generations of executives view and use mobility in different fashions, smart devices have now become more than just instruments being used to access emails.

The unthethered executive can now make informed decisions of a high level anywhere, anytime. Considering the fact that businesses operate in multiple geographies across disparate time zones, this has essentially become possible due to the innovation in Enterprise Mobile Apps for different lines of businesses like sales, supply chain, service etc. Businesses in different sectors may have dissimilar kinds of work-related data, but these applications can make them available in required formats suitable for decision making across sectors. It may be data like client lists for sales people or medical records of patients, mobile solutions for enterprises are designed to extract and present information in a way that can drive decision making.

It is here, that we at KloudData have decided to make a foray into mobile enterprise apps to foster better decision making. Check out KloudData’s SAP Blog for more details about how enterprise mobility aids in the taking of critical business decisions.

Winner of Mobility Challenge at the SAP Tech ED

It was a busy week. KloudData participated in the SAP mobile app challenge for partners, North America. Our Apps mMR and mFSE made it to the top three finalists. This meant that we were going to Las Vegas to participate in the SAP Tech Ed.

We Came, We Saw, We Conquered...

Well, that is easier said than done. It was a tough competition and we had to give it our best shot. I firmly believe that our enterprise mobility team is one of the best in the SAP Eco System. Our apps mMR (mobile Med Records) and mFSE (mobile Field Service Engineer) were chosen by the SAP Jury on the basis of their functionality. However, in Vegas, it was an all together different ball game. There, we had to convince a live audience, showcase our app and win their votes. And so, we decided to do just that.

Starting with an introduction to both the apps, we presented the benefits and finally showcased the UI. This was our winning trump card. The User Interface of both the mMR and mFSE apps is extensively well researched making their use easy for doctors, caregivers, and engineers. Our past experience of working with healthcare institutions, hospitals and doctors went into designing the intuitively usable UI of the apps. Prashant  Parekh (CEO KloudData), ensured that this aspect was well presented and in the end the audience’s votes made us the winners.

I am sure that today, everyone who was connected directly or indirectly in the design and development of both mMR and mFSE is extremely happy. I  was also informed that celebrations had ensued at our Nagpur office on receiving this news.  It was a well deserved celebration no doubt as both the development and design teams had worked very hard to make both mMR and mFSE a reality.

Success tastes great and we at KloudData are now working towards more such awards and  post-award winning parties!
